Hi VENKAT. The txt speed on this phone is VERY SLOW, i strongly don't recommend u to buy this phone. Ive had it for two weeks and im suffering from the txt speed, its EXTREMELY SLOW.

Hi karrie, ur paying less than 100 bucks for this phone. A phone that has excellent ring volume, perfect reception and talk time/standby. Mp3 like means is very close to polyphonic. Putting regular songs is not possibe at all. If you want a stylish phones that send and recieve phone calls and sms, and not having to worry about rechanging every two days, this is the phone for you. Its features aren't impressive and is a very basic phone.

Hi, i'm thinking of getting this phone because i want a simple stylish phone that looks good. But can anyone tell me if you can get high quality mp3 ringtones on it. On this website it says "mp3 like" i don't know what that means lol. Also, is there no usb? that sucks how i am i meant to put free stuff onto my it.

Whoever wants the basic color monitor with stereo FM, w220 is a very good mobile from motorola. Affordable price only 3800INR. One more thing it is having flap which gives the good looking.

can anyone explain clearly your experience with w220 model phoned especially abt typing texts … is the spped okay? I need ur suggestion cos I am planning to buy this phone

Looks are Sleek & the Phone has an excellent indicator of caller type known/unknown.
This phone is an excellent one in the price band of 4K.

Recentaly i purchased the mobile motorolaw220 its very good to use and nice look but only option is i cant able to transfer the data if anybody knows please inform me

someone talking nonsense about this mobile is really not fair. this instrument is extremely good for a person who just needs a basic phone. interface is quick and menu is logically arranged. the sound quality is very clear and loud moreover no complaints on the signal strength. if there was a speaker phone it would have been an advantage. nevertheless this is one of moto's best models. one can confidently buy this model without a second thought.

I need help - I just gifted this phone to my Mom but she keeps complaining that its battery life is too short - she needs to charge it everyday. However, I read that some users are getting through 2-3 days without recharging. So what I need to know is whether there is some power saving setting which would enable the battery to provide 2-3 days standby time or is there some fault with the battery??

I liked this phone all around except for one thing - the display area doesn't fully cover the screen window which makes it look cheap. Also, the key pad illumination could have been a better tint. Priced pretty high in B'lore compared to other cities.

Answering about downloading wallpaper...You can gat free by go to the wap.google.com then like usual google..you just input the key search and do not forget to choose " image " ( there are web,image,locat setting,web mobile alternative).After got the wanted picture.Then click "option" on the left down screen then click " save picture ".then choose the picture you want to save.

Got this phone a week ago.
I must say I am more than satisfied as this is my first Motorola phone (i am a nokia loyalist though!) I bought this for "secondary phone" with basic features and for its sleek looks.
Its design is cool. No s/w problems. The FM radio output is extraordinary. I have also browsed wap sites and downloaded some wallpapers and ringtones with ease using Airtel connection. No problems.
Also, I am amazed at its power management.. the battery lasts me for about 2-3 days!
Overall, its a good phone below Rs 4000 and value for money. Definitely recommended

This cell phone looks cool but it is definitely for people who write txts very fast. You cannot write a txt very fast on this phone, it also takes about 2mins to forward a txt to 10 people, when really it shud be, say, 20 seconds. I was not impressed with this phone, it is very very slow.
