Basically Moto went back to school and working on some low end phones.Cant keep up with the new age.
No plz dont talk about ROKR..its a design disaster.Have you seen the RORK E3?..uuf.
Hope they find some company who has some knowledge in design/mp3 player/Display technlogy/Camera/Camcoder and marge with them.
Moto is taking a break.

This phone still needs:
1) Mp3 ringtones + usb
2) TFT, 256K colors display
Skip the radio, and you have perfect phone, without tons of needless functions

I hope this model..motorola specifically developed to penetrate the two giant markets ( India and China ) and planning to take a price war with rival Nokia for its low end models which are really doing good in the two markets....Possibly the price will be very low..so every one can afford to have RAZR ..All the best..Moto

Looks like a cheap knock-off to the Razor. Motorola catering to the low-end user and making them think they have a Razor

I think Motorola made this phone with Verizon users In mind (LOL). Since their Razor lacks all the features that the Razr has come to stand for. This phone is a great phone for grandparents that are finally getting into the world of Mobile phones.

If u don't like this phone, then it's probably not targeted for you. Companies have to see to it that they make products for everyone. This one if for the lower market, for people who can't afford, or don't like to spend so much for a phone. Now if you like so much the well-featured ones, and can't afford them, too bad for you you'll probably have to stick with this one. I hope everyone got my point. "Great phone, for it's market target." Don't complain!

well in my opinion i think this phone is a low end phone...extremely low end actually...maybe it is meant to target the "not so rich" people or people who wan a phone just to make a call.anyway have to wait till it is released to check the price.anyone has any info bout the price of this phone?

Great phone! I've been constantly looking for a simpistic phone. I have my notebook, my pocket pc, and I just need a very basic phone until the Skype + WiFi combination obliterate all useless 3G & 4G phones and communication standards.

I dont know actually if I am shocked or desappointed by Motorola, this phone proves that the glory that Motorola had in the past, is just a vague souvenir.

I think this phone will suit some people like me who simply want to use a phone. Nothing more.
Being a Moto user for more then 10 years. Moto finally manage to solve their problem with Pick up and Close button wrong way round last year. Now the only problem is with their software.
Like all of their phone OS. Only 10 Dailed / Missed / Recived Call. Why not 20 or 50 like most other company? Standby hour still on the low side. And hopefully you can store more SMS this time around.
Oh... Is there any Auto Push open button?

A perfect phone for the older generation. I think the kids are missing the point with this phone. Why have an amazing resolution screen when all you are displaying is numbers? people who care about the quality of their pictures don't really want a phone camera which takes fuzzy shots through a lens which is covered in greasy finger prints and scratches. You could take away any messaging function and replace the irritating ring tones with an old school 'ring ring' and there would still be a strong market. If you want bells and whistles then you're obviously looking at the wrong phone... Get over it and move on.
