Hi,
Give me link to download Usb drivers of w270 and Pc charging drivers too. I tried to download from Motorola website but that is useless, the link they provided me, I used it to download but when its downloaded it was as zip folder and inside there were tutorials and files not any software or application of Usb cable and about Pc charging it dont accept my Pc settings even I am using xp, already. Help me and give me softwares. My memory card is still empty. Oh Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!! I want to listen Music soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys,
I just bought this phone, today. Damnnnnnn, keypad is very bad. It's very hard to press keys, keys r really very hard. I feel like that my fingers r powerless to press it. And then the place of sim card, wowowowo so bad too. U can't insert ur sim properly. It has no perfect place for it, last part of ur sim is on upper surface on metal not in staight position. It gives scratches on sim while inserting it and chances to harm ur sim by battery weight becz of no proper level for sim.
Even my siled phone was not so clean. I noticed there were finger prints etc. on it even it was siled. What's this motorola? Why r u really let us feel alike that it's really cheap phone by price and by quality. But yes looks and sound r really excellent as W220. That's why I dont blame u, just suggest u to improove !!!

I am not able to hear music with my Micro SD. when I connect it and see I am able to see all the songs I had loaded(through sync options). But When I press Music button i am able to see only Ring tones not MP3 files.
What is the solution to it

Motorola w270 its a very good phone exept the life of the battery, its not so big stands only for 2 days. Ihave a sonny ericsson w700i that has many more applications and stands more than the moto. Thats something that i dont understant.
For the prise that this phone cost its a good price

I am using nokia for many years, my last was nokia 6110 navigator, I have been studying different types of mp3 phones for the last three months… I bought this moto w270 some weeks back, I found a lot of difference… Here what they are…
DISADVANTAGES….
In nokia phones a single contact can have 5 different phone numbers, here w270 u need 2 specify 5 times individually.
W270 s Keypad is low quality, just feels like rubber..
It can have only 500 contact capacity in memory..
ADVANTAGES…
It has a very good executive look… will give 9 out of 10 marks..
U can assign 7 different shortcut keys..
It can make alarm from off position…
Its very user-friendly…(should explore all keys and use atleast 2 weeks)
For playing selected songs put all mp3 in a subfolder inside music folder..
Its Keypad blue light is fantastic, it rocks during night…
Can assign Mp3 as ringtones, sms, voice call, call1, call2 etc..
It can charge from usb itselt…(install a driver named PhSerUsbPort.inf..thats all)
Calculator function is very easy compared 2 nokia phones and there is a lot of types of reminders…
Good calendar feature…
Nokia phones of this price range have 5 contact categories each can add 50 contacts, w270 can add any no of categories and each can have any no of contacts more than 50…
SOMETHING U SHOULD KNOW….
W270 has a low bass effect, don’t blame it its so designed to improve battery life…
There is a great difference.. some electronics gays can only understand what am going to say.. “What ever the stereo phones are.. a fraction of left channel signal is mixed in right channel and vice versa… so u would never hear a correct stereo effect..” There is nothing mixing of signals in moto w270 series…. coz the two op-amps are different….
First I was worried with the bass effect, later I noticed this excellent stereo effect more over the sound is very clear and have a very good clarity even with FM stereo ... its amazing, I hadn’t ever heard like this even in my old nokia 6110 navigator ..
Another problem is …” when u here Mp3 or FM for some time ur battery will drain faster.. it will last for 1 or 1.5 days…. Otherwise it can last more than 1 week (coz i have tested only for 1 week)..
Moto w270 and W220 have all the same features.. one is bar type and other like moto razer….
No other phones can beat w270 and W220 for this price range… I bet it..
