does the motorola w375 need a installation disc for the usb to work?

The handset is good but there is no bluetooth facility and the battery backup is very low.Having a camera handset without bluetooth facility is of waste.

I have a Motorolla W375. The keypads are hard for me,and it takes a long time to sending the message, had to wait for it to send before i close its flip..The memory is a little low too..
It wasn't hard to tranfer the files since it didnt need any software..The Battery and Charging was not a problem to me so far.The style and looks are awesome for the price, I like the phone..
To those looking for a simple phone this will do you good..

i like it alot. the only problems though is the battery life(which has been stated already), and that everytime i try to download a ringtone it doesn't let me open the browser to comfirm the download. it either says "Failed", or it just couldn't find the URL.

like the phone but can't transfer pics to my pc. i have win xp and when i connect the usb to the pc to transfer pics.........nothing happens. how have some of you who said you could transfer pics get it to work? did you need special software? any help appreciated. called motorola and rep said it's not possible even though their literature says that you can. they don't even know their own equipment. HELP from anybody out there!!!!!!!!

I have got this phone, recently, Im very happy with everything except, when people say it has low memory, it does. But I dont think that matters. Although the main reason why I bought this phone was to have 1 MP3 ringtone on it. Now, I have looked everywhere for guide's on how to put the ringtone on my auctual phone.. Could anyone help me please? Or cant you download because lack of memory?

Besides the MP3 problem, this phone IS worth getting for people who arnt looking for a oh-so-flash phone.

I have the W375. It didn´t cost too much, but it has a slow software and the battery... sucks! Each 3 days I have to recharge it. My Nokia could be till 7 days without recharging.

i got this phone today It is awesome
though very S L O W when charging but it is a good phone espessialy since its my first !

Not a bad little phone for the money, I payed less than 25 quid in Woolies.
Not exactly the latest technology but it looks cool and you can certainly buy a lot worse for the money.

Yes, it looks gorgeous, but no, I wouldn't recommend it. I have only had mine about three days but despite fiddling with everything I can find no way of getting MP3 ringtones onto it. It says it is possible to put music onto it through the computer, but all your stored items must total no more than 500kb. If you have a photo of say 32kb stored on the phone that reduces the storage limit to virtually nothing, certainly not enough for even a bog-standard short music clip. (You can theoretically download music through the WAP but the limit for this is 100kb per download, which is next to nothing.) Another irritating thing is that the camera has uninteresting basic animations and naff photos loaded onto it, which you can't remove to rescue a bit more memory. SO ... I don't want bluetooth, or huge memory for storing songs, but I WOULD like a phone that can provide one or two musical ringtones rather than the tiresome bleeps that this one is provided with. So this phone doesn't do it for me on those points. The text entry system is odd, but I guess I will get used to it. The only thing I am really impressed with (I'm easily pleased!)is the way you can use a photo you have taken as a wallpaper - OK, it won't store many photos, but the quality for a basic camera seems good and you can actually download the photo to your computer.

if you want a phone with bluetooth get a phone with bluetooth, don't waste time complaning about a phone that doesn't have it. a phone is a phone not a ipod, not a camera & if all you do all day is sit around & wonder what else it could do just so you can tell everyone how much junk it is then, get a life.

Phone looks very stylish. Takes lot of time to charge the battery. Less battery backup.

not thirlled with this phone. the phone is S L O W. i've never had a phone that is this slow. camera quality isn't great. you have to wait until the phone displays "Message Sent" until you can close the flip for a message to be sent or else its cancelled. It is a pretty looking phone for the price. No external caller ID. Not very friendly when trying to connect to a PC. I would NOT recommend this phone. at all.

cut the crop guys! its a simple,stylish,functional phone! dont buy if you dont like! check the opinions of aders b4 buyin! hi-end fones r costly! got mine yesterday! find it COOL!!!
