xoom update is available for external memory re4ading in india you can update through wifi,
it is amazing compare to ipad2

I live in Canada, and this model wifi + 3g has not been released here yet. Does anyone know where I can buy it, perhaps another country?

Avoid! If you r in UK. No support, the SD Card not working no 3.1 update yet. Do your homework before spending any money for this.

This is really an innovation on tablets! it is the total iPad2 contender! not mentioning that android market offers FREE applications, unlike apple store that requires you to spend over their applications. i have compared the features and the downmarks of xoom isn't really counting (visual things?), you can actually bear with it. but the totality is really amazing! say goodbye iPad/2 :)

Can u use this tablet in Central America? Im talking about the 3G network because I have a chip whit internet and I want to buy a Xoom but I dont know if I have to buy the wifi version or if I am able to buy a 3G version also here in El Salvador. This model does have a sd slot next to the sim slot, but is inactive in android 3.0; it also does hsdpa 900 & 850. This was tested on the Telstra model (which I am typing into right now).

Hi guys i have one of these i got it from Telstra on the release date just to clarify a few things for you.
There is a microSD slot it is where you put the sim card in. Also reguarding apps if the developer as updated the app using the latest SDK it will upscale automatically i have used a lot of apps on the xoom and no problems so far (not 100% sure about the auto upscaling but sure someone else can clarify)
A lot of people complain about the facebook apps not upscaling, apps that log in to websites like the facebook app and ebay app are no longer required as the xoom will browse these websites like you see on your computer my wife uses the xoom to check facebook she can do everything on it that you can do on a computer
I love mine it is the best thing i have ever bought all the problems they talk about in the review on the main page are not for this model like for example ive never had an issue with wifi or many of the problems they talk about. They say it is slow but mine is SUPER FAST! (MZ601 is what i have from Telstra) i can multitask games and the net with multiple tabs open and it still runs smooooooth :)
