I need some more help! Please !! About 3 weeks ago my phones unlock logo disappeared, I thought nothing more about it as I could still ring out and send tx's ok, although it did not ring when receiving a tx. Last night I found out that if someone rang me they would get the engaged signal and my phone would not ring, so I have tried to execute the reset to factory settings and when asked for a pin or code I have had no luck as I don;t think I set one up originally ,I have tried all my passwords and or pins and even maybe the factory one 0000 ?? am I right? Am I heading in the right direction or has the phone got a fault with it ? Thanks for any help.

jingjoeman, 12 May 2012i have bought one of these from hong kong - its the real de... moreI got mine yesterday for 599rmb in Ningbo. I was turned on by the design and the front camera and of cos, it reminds me of the good old Moto Razors.
You'd have a problem installing super apps such as Whatsapp, Viber and other apps because Moto's own app shop also seems to fold.
The way round it is to transfer the apk files from Iphone or other older smartphones of yours to the SD card then use that card when you use XT532, then install from the card.
Otherwise, you'd have to seek out sites esp Zol to download those apps.
So browse the incoming apps at Play Store, then download one by one from individual sites. In any case, China apps have plenty of creative (and probably pirated) games and such. Shouldn't be too bad.
Thank goodness, China bans Youtube but the phone still can access Youtube outside China! LOL!

I have forgotten how I did it, but just fumble through and you'd find the option to turn it off.

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!! Please, I have just found out that every time I switch on my phone it automatically connects to a server relating to one of the SIMs and up dates my DATA ,How do I disable this data connection and only rely on a wifi connection as needed, it costs me $1 every time I turn on. My sim1 happens to be Telecom and they have spent nearly an hour trying to help me solve this but we can find nothing.
