Does anyone here have an IQ above 80??

How is this mid-range device ANY different from a mid-range device from SE, Nokia, LG or Samsung?

What part of MID-RANGE do you not understand??

Louie, 07 Mar 2009Why motorola keeps on making phones like this?? VERY OUTDATED.Yeah, quite "outdated" eh? See when will either the almighty brand or the I?Music brand will come out any phone which supports both GSM and TS-SCDMA....probably in YEARS to come.

Don't think the two other brands mentioned above even know how to make a dual mode GSM/CDMA phone.

          Outdated tech eh?

I'm sure, that Moto name will be equals to present Philips. Several years ago Philips was No1 in Europe and now it's asia product using Philips brand name. Motorola is so deep in trouble, you don't understand haw deep, I was here, I now...

                          Well put Stuart...

Many people think that EVERY device should come equipped with high end features such as GPS, Wi-Fi, doc. viewer...etc, etc. This merely a mid-range device.

Every company makes low ,mid ,& high end devices, from LG to Nokia, to SE, & so on.

If a particular model doesn't come equipped with what you need, look for something else. There are enough handsets to satisfy even the most hard-core user.

I can understand why there were many comments both positives & negatives on this phone, it's more to do with personal preference of different individuals. For me, this design is good, especially the metal back.

However, some comments require "further evaluation", like no 3G, no Wifi, no touchscreen and so on. From reading these comments, I can feel the person who posted these comments were actually looking or expecting this model to be a high end phone, unfortunately it's not. The specs clearly indicated that this model were produced to compete at the low to mid range market. For those interested to get a higher range touchscreen, 3G phone, look at A3100, for a good camera phone - ZN5, music phone - E8 and so on. The models are all separated in different RANGEs. Different PHONE RANGE competes in different MARKET RANGE and therefore different PRICE RANGE. A lot of readers here already knew this and they saw the specs, are aware of which market segment this ZN300 is targeting and commented fairly based on this information. I can't say the same for some comments here and straight away you'll know the they were posted without taking the PHONE RANGE into consideration. Yes, the ZN300 is the latest model of ZN series but it is also a lower range model as compare to ZN5. By knowing the correct range, the expectation level will be set in our conscious mind therefore our comment on ZN300 will be more reasonable & considerate.
