Hahaha... I know all about Motorola. At least Motorola Fans not like Sony Ericsson Fans; always arogan, always make problem to Motorola Forums and the fact is Sony Ericsson has same problem with Motorola. If Sony Ericsson fans already rank 1; you can make problem to other forum. Also Nokia will be rank 2 sooner.

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2008To all u die hard Motorola fans, Can any one tell me HOW... moreTake 3G and shove it honestly, its not the end of the world just like wifi. Great shape, battery, camera, and hopefully mini-usb are IMO the most important elements. This thing has everything + extras, so I'll wait patiently and snag it up as soon as its out.

That's news for Sony Ericsson Fanboys. What a poor Sony Ericsson. What a shame Sony Ericsson is joint venture but can't defeat single Motorola. Sony Ericsson is in rank 5 and Motorola is in rank 3. Sony Ericsson, i wan tell you don't be arogan.

Sony Ericsson warns on profit as demand slows ( http://www.reuters.com/article/hotStocksNews/idUSL278989620080627 ).
Will Sony Ericsson be the next Motorola?
Interestingly, there's another company out there who are also in danger of going down the same route: Sony Ericsson. Their profits have fallen by 47% in the first few months of 2008, caused largely by a range of phones last year that were simply uninspiring.
After a raft of successes with their Walkman and CyberShot phones, the company simply released yet more versions of the same thing. It became boring to write about, and reading the forums it became evident that other mobile phone users (and even people passionate about Sony Ericsson) felt the same way. Sony Ericsson, too, it seemed, were guilty of resting on their laurels while Nokia, Samsung and LG upped their game.
Fortunately for the company, the new phones that are set to hit the stores this year look to be completely different from the duds of last year. The new C905 8 megapixel camera phone is causing quite a stir, while the Xperia X1 smartphone is almost as eagerly anticipated as the iPhone. As long as they get their marketing and pricing right, they should have a set of winners on their hands, which should help them avoid the predicament that Motorola finds itself in.
So there's a lesson here for the large corporations of the world. Engage with the bloggers who write about your products. Read their blogs, learn from what people are saying, and use the blogosphere as a sounding board for how people are reacting to your latest products.
If enough people say your product's crap, it probably is! Really, it can't be that difficult to figure out, surely?!

You guys on here ranting about the fact that SE's C905 has an 8MP camera in it, sound totally out of touch.
You have completely bought into the best marketing ploy ever. The whole "bigger is better" scheme.
Please tell me that you know there is more involved in a camera's ability to take crisp, detailed, & clear pics than mega pixels.
How often are you going to blow up photos to a size of 4ft x 4ft? I am guessing never.
You myopic SE fanboy's do realize that Moto is still ahead of SE in terms of sales, even considering that sales went down for Moto by 26% & still managed to beat SE....don't you.
Get you heads out of the clouds & come back to reality. SE is nothing special, & have without a doubt the buggiest software in a phone.

Why no 3G?
1. China doesn't have 3G and China Mobile is the main customer for ZN5.
2. T-Mobile USA doesn't have 3G.
3. Most Asia and Africa doesn't have 3G.
4. Russia doesn't have 3G.
5. Latin America doesn't have 3G.
6. All networks with 3G still support 2.5 G (EDGE) phones.
7. 2.5G phones are less expensive which is important for at least 90% of world population.
8. For the same reason there is no GPS or big, touch display or huge build-in memory.
9. There is a follow up 3G version with 8MP camera, GPS, touch screen e.t.c.
10. This is not a $599 iPhone which for it's price should have had 3G, GPS, BT stereo, and many other missing stuff.

its not about putting moto down, i have had motos in the past and yes there gawjus looking things but thats all, when nokia and se and samsung moved forward with new inovations, they simply havent... until now that is.. and as where mostly still stuck on the 5 mp benchmark, (se have launched 8mp fone) it will be intresting to see how this compares to its predicesers!

Moto decided to include Wi-Fi only. Why is not a big deal when SE or Nokia only include W-Fi.
You don't understand demographics. Nokia is a European mobile manufacturer, where 3G is hard wired into Europe's mobile infrastructure. There are many more Nokia handsets with 3G & no Wi-Fi.
Motorola focuses more on the USA & Asian market where Wi-Fi is more prevalent.
Don't worry though, they will release some great models in no time.
Why isn't a company ever allowed to have some harsh times...that is how economies work. There are very few companies that continually see profits each all 4 quarters.
Also, am I the only person here who isn't a fanboy??...I am currently using Nokia's 6500 Slide, cause' it's a great handset that has immpeccable build, not cause' I only use Nokia products.
This is why I also have a Moto Z6. It is the fastest phone I have ever used. The 628Mhz processor is insanely fast.
People need to be more open to quality products, & not brands....The mobile manufacturer you so defend at every chance, does nothing for you for staying loyal to their brands.
When is the last time you got some kind of kickback from SE, or Nokia or Samsung for using their products??.....LOL
