I've only had my phone for 3 months and the camera has stopped focusing. All of my pictures are coming out blurry and I can't figure out what is wrong with it. I've checked all of the camera settings and wiped off the lens. Everything is blurry just looking through the lens before I take a picture. Can anyone help me out

You can share and learn how to maximize your linux phone
it would be easier to instal application by mod your ZN5 firnware rather than use stock firmware. i use silence 7 ztm (based on OER firmware) now

To me ZN5 is the best non-touchscreen phone Motorola had made till-date.
Motorola was always known for its build quality & use of top notch materials that it used to build the phones, but at the same time it lagged in the software department to its opposition, user interface was always dated and slow.
The Linux Java software platform that is used for ZN5 gave it a welcome boost and took it in the same league to Nokia, Sony Ericsson & Samsung.
I have this phone for almost two years. Here, take a look at the rundown of the key features and the major disadvantages as I saw them:
Key features :
1) 5 MP AutoFocus Variable Aperture camera capable of taking still pictures of exceptional quality
2) Zenon Flash & red eye reduction technology
3) Kodak Perfect Touch technolgy available in the phone
4) Truely amazing 2.4 inch QVGA, TFT screen from Sharp
5) Audio player & exceptional audio quality
6) Good video player capable of playing high bitrate videos.
7) 500 Mhz + applications processor, 230 Mhz DSP
8) 3.5 mm audio jack, WIFI, TV-Out
9) Great built quality, built to last like a tank
Disadvantages :
1) User interface is a little slower than Nokia
2) Poor video recording quality

is this best firmware for zn5
i want take picture in raw mode ?

I used this phone and it really very useful I even connect to facebook via wi-fi.

I have a question for the ZN5 owners. Are you able to sign in to MSN Messenger via Wi-Fi with this phone???
Only ZN5 owners please!
Because I read somewhere on the web that with Wi-Fi you're only able to Surf the Web but at the moment that you try to use the MSN Messenger the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect and won't work via Wi-Fi. That supposedly MSN Messenger on ZN5 only works using a Data Plan. Is this true or what???
Please reply ASAP!

I bought mine recently, June 25, 2010.
Here's my personal review of the phone:
1. Camera is superb even at dark/night, it takes good photos. Images were sharp and crisp.
2. Sound for music play is loud enough for me.
3. Call clarity, I don't have problems about drop calls. Incoming calls/voice were clear and as per my caller said, no problem about my voice calls. Thanks for the crystal talk technology.
4. Web access/browser, just configured wifi connection in our home. Set as default browser profile and surf the net for free.
5. Facebook mobile, youtube mobile, mobile messenger, email and etc...
Cons:
1. Lags but not all the time. But still I find it considerable and not a big deal for me.
Overall:
I love this phone!♥♥♥

I bought zn5 yesterday,finally.i had been waiting to buy it..i'm really impressed with this phone..camera quality is awesome..best i've been used..thanx to everyone who write their opinions..it makes me believe that zn5 is rock...! The best cameraphone in my opinions..

k, 05 Jul 2010definetly you cannot find any other phone that has a 5mp ca... moreWell, i do not agree this phone has simple spec. it has linux operating system, so it can be installed a lot of application (mgx application) and its user interface appearance can be changed (mgs file) with a lot cool themes. but its not as easy as other brand to instal the application. maybe you have to mod your firmware, or use samba connection, or pinkmod (its easier) to maximize your ZN5 feature
