MWC 2010: Various brands overview
MWC 2010
Dell Mini3
The Dell Mini3 duo of smartphones is no longer a novelty but due to limitations of market availability, this is the first time we see them in person. The Dell Mini 3i is the 2G model headed to China and running the custom oPhone OS. The Dell Mini 3iX is the 3G variety that runs vanilla Andropid OS and it should make it to Brazil. We certainly hope wider availability is not out of the question.
Dell Mini3 compared to the iPhone 3G
The two phones have almost identical design and you can hardly distinguish them if it's not their UI. We gotta say we love the oval shapes of both. They are sized just about right and fit nicely in hand.
Dell Mini3i (red one) compared Mini3iX (brown one)
Naturally, we were more interested in the 3G-enabled Mini 3iX, which at least has slight chances of getting European availability.

Mobile phone design is, as a whole, sub par.
