I cannot start phone because it's saying "unable to read sim" please help. I am from india.

osi, 20 Mar 2006pls,can anyone send the nec 530 software and drivers to me.... morei have nec e530 .my mobile is under software problem.the third ,fourth,fifth numbers in the seriel number of the my model is erased.
but i know the first five numbers of the e530 is same
for all the mobile.

well, nice fone, all nec fones are great, except some things they shud look for, first, the memory is always too low! second, the software is slow! and third is that their friggin cameras are always cif!!! why the hell they make such a good fone and put a cif camera innit? why not a better vga or svga camera?

Hi I was bought a NEC e530 back in July, and have had no real problems with it. Until now a couple of days ago, my phone /address book disappeared. So Now when I go into phone book it brings up the Sim directory ie numbers for Talking Pages/rac/ aa/ that kind of thing//
, and now I have no names and addresses.
Can anyone help or explain how I can fix it or how it has happened???? I have no real address book and have lost all my friends details/ pls help!!!!!!

I don't know much about the phone but I wanted to know more details about it and the cost of it. I have a DB4000 but I would want to get another phone. In Uganda it is so hard to come across NEC phones but Iam an admirer of the company coz most of my electronic are NEC products. I hope to here from you soon.
