Netflix, Amazon and Google Play have 21:9 movies you can watch on Xperia 1 and 10

While 16:9 is considered the standard for TV, there’s more 21:9 content that you might have thought – that fits perfectly on Sony’s 2019 flagship (Xperia 1) and mid-range smartphones (Xperia 10 and Plus).
Two-thirds of Netflix original movies are filmed in 21:9, recent examples include the popular Birdbox and Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. Most of its original TV series, however, are presented in 18:9.
By the way, Netflix is testing $0.95 mobile-only plans in India and Malaysia. These plans are valid for a single device for a week and stream video in SD. There are higher resolution plans available at $1.8, $2.3 and $2.8 a week.
Google Play, Netflix and Amazon Video have 21:9 movies to stream and buy
If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber instead, there’s Venom (from Sony Pictures no less) and Arrival, which are 21:9 movies. Google Play also has UltraWide content, including the Black Panther and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom movies.
Some games have adopted the new aspect ratio as well, including Arena of Valor.

PS. you can see a user-curated list of 21:9 movies (sorted by their IMDb rating) over here (a Google Docs spreadsheet).

So Venom's 21:9. It doesn't run in full screen on my phone (Motorola One Vision). I am using Amazon Prime. Am I missing something?
