New affordable Oppo incoming with big battery

An Oppo smartphone with the code name CPH2015 was certified at multiple countries so far, but it received a different moniker at some markets. Dubbed Oppo A31 in India but Oppo Reno S in Indonesia, the device was just approved by the Bluetooth SIG, revealing some of the key specs of the phone.

The Oppo A31/Reno S will have a 6.5” screen with HD+ resolution, a 2 GHz processor by Mediatek and a big 4230 mAh battery. There is also a list of the LTE bands and the Bluetooth version, which is 5.0. The CPH2015 phone will have ColorOS 6.1.2, meaning it will ship with Android Pie and will have to wait for a ColorOS 7 update.

The listing by FCC reveals there is going to be a waterdrop notch on the top, a USB-C port on the bottom, which should be a must in all smartphones, even affordable units like this one here, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. We would be really surprised to see the Oppo A31 moniker once again because such phone already existed back in 2015 with glass front and glass back.

>2ghz mediatek processor not interested, aight imma head out

4000mAh above is considered big batteries. Back then we would only see up to 3600mAh. My phone being the Oppo A9 2020 with its 5000mAh is considered big and the time it takes for this phone to go less than 20% is a very long time

Not all countries have proper 5G network at the moment.
