New LG offers for UMTS networks

LG boosts its range with the addition of two new models, the LG U8130 and LG U8138. These handsets are enhanced versions of the two top selling LG handsets this summer (LG U8110, U8120) and are an exclusive for 3, the UK’s first video mobile network. LG U8130 is becoming available now and the U8138 will come very soon.

The LG U8130, an upgrade to the U8120, is identical in some respects and is both 3G and 2.5G compatible. It has a bright intrenal 176x220 pixel display in 65k colours and a 96x64 pixel monochrome external display with 7 different backlight colours. Other important feature is the rotating VGA resolution camera, 32Mb internal memory and a variety of audio and video supported formats. The communication is assured of an infra-red and USB port and unfortunately no bluetooth. Other features include an email client, Java, WAP 2.0 XHTML web browser, GPRS; measure 96x50x23mm and weigh 126 grams.

The LG U8138, an upgrade to the LG U8110, reveals its supremacy when compared to U8130 with it's external display in 65k colours and a huge internal 176x220 pixel TFT display in 262k. Again will find a VGA resolution camera, 32MB inernal non-expandable memory and a video recording in QCIF (176x144) format. The Video/Audio player supports MIDI, MP3, MPEG4, AAC, AMR and WAV formats, while Video/Audio streaming will play MPEG4, AAC and AMR formats. The U8138 measure 95.7x49.5x23.7mm and weigh 126 grams.
