New phones of the week

It was undoubtedly Lenovo's week, this last one. The company announced a total of 5 smartphones, three under its own brand, and a couple of Moto's. ZTE also launched a handset, the nubia Z11 Max.

Moto Z and Moto Z Force

Lenovo's flagship models, the Moto Z and Moto Z Force both pack top-class hardware - a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820chipset, 4 gigs of RAM. The Moto Z is crazy thin, at just 5.2mm, while the Moto Z Force is shatter-proof. That's just the start though.

The two Moto's support snap-on accessories, which attach to their backs with magnets and offer additional functionality - a speaker system, a battery back, a pico-projector, or just simple shells - taking the LG G5's modular concept to the next level.

Lenovo Phab2, Phab2 Plus, Phab 2 Pro

Then comes the Phab2 range of, well, phablets. All of them are 6.4 inches in diagonal, but it's the Phab2 Pro that's clearly the one you'd want. A total of three cameras on its back (16MP main one) provide the hardware for a Google Tango augmented reality experience, thanks to motion tracking, and depth sensing, and whatnot.

This one is powered by the Snapdragon 652, has 4GB or RAM and 64GB of storage, and its giant display has QHD resolution.

Lenovo Phab2 Pro • Lenovo Phab2 Plus • Lenovo Phab2

Going down from the Phab2 Pro, you gradually lose display resolution (1080p for the Plus, 720p for the plain Phab2) and cameras (2x13MP on the Phab2 Plus, a single 13MP on the Phab2). Both sport 3 gigs of RAM and 32GB of storage, but neither supports Tango.

ZTE nubia Z11 Max

Long-awaited and oft-leaked, the nubia Z11 Max is here, and after the Phab2's it's display diagonal may seem small at just 6 inches. Key specs include a Snapdragon 652 chip, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 16MP primary camera.
