New rumor claims the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will be thinner

Vlad, 15 August 2025

Last week, a mega leak purported to bring us the full specs for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, and today another leak corroborates most of those specs, but has different ideas about some others.

For example, today's leak says the tablet will be 5.1mm thick, vs. 5.5mm in the previous rumor. That's not a huge difference, but it is one nevertheless. The tablet is also said to boast MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+ SoC, and not the 9400.

It will allegedly come with 12GB of RAM with 256/512GB of storage, or 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It will have an S Pen, a 13 MP main rear camera, an 8 MP secondary rear camera, a 12 MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi 7, 4 speakers, a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, and an 11,600 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.

It will be IP68 certified for dust and water resistance and will run Android 16 with One UI 8 on top from day one. It will have eSIM support, a ton of AI features, and will be offered in gray and silver. The tablet is getting official before the end of the year, that much Samsung has already confirmed.

True, but they could at least make it cheaper if they want to do so. An allrounder phone with last year's chipset could be cheaper, so why a tablet couldn't be the same.

I still see people using pre-2020 phones in 2025. They don't care about the so-called "mandatory" need for the latest chip.
