Microsoft has pushed out a new update to its Skype for iOS client. The update bumps the version to 6.30, and brings along a handful of changes, including the ability to send personalized holiday video messages to your loved ones.

"Spread a little extra holiday cheer! Share a personalized holiday video message with your loved ones. Tap on the snowflake button next to the Skype logo to get started," the change-log for the update says.

In addition, the update also makes sure that notifications are automatically cleared from the Notification Center as soon as the app is launched. And finally, the update also makes it possible to rejoin a group call in case you accidentally closed the app during the call.
