Apple’s WWDC is over and Apple has announced many new changes to their existing portfolio of hardware. Including changes to watchOS, iOS, the newly renamed macOS, and tvOS.

New changes have been made to tvOS' UI including a black theme that seems to work better on a TV in a dark room which is often the case when watching TV, the original light UI also remains so you have the option of choosing between the two. There is also ‘Live Tuning’ which will let users say a command and instantly watch a network’s live stream right through the Apple TV. It’s worth mentioning though, that this feature will only be compatible with a few TV channels at launch.

The new Remote app lets users completely replace the Siri remote with their iOS device. Complete with a Siri button for voice commands, the app also makes use of the accelerometer/gyro senor to use gestures and play games on the Apple TV. Finally, of course you’ll be able to use the keyboard on your iOS device to make search queries.

Single Sign On also had the crowd cheering. One of the most annoying things about a connected TV experience is having to log into every network with your TV provider’s credentials. The new update to tvOS will only require that users sign into their provider one time. This will allow users to access all channels available to their subscription.

One last feature that was announced: Apple TV will install new channels for your automatically via your Apple ID. When you install a new network’s app on your iPhone, the same app will appear on your Apple TV.

Well, that's what people were asking for... Everytime they bring up something new, people complain that there is no customization and freedom... They now give customization and some freedom but you still complain because there is nothing new...
