New update brings fingerprint bug fix for Essential Phone

Himanshu, 08 November 2017

Essential has started pushing out a new update to its PH-1 smartphone. Arriving as build version NMJ32F and weighing in at around 57MB, it's a security update that brings along Android fixes for the month of November.

In addition, the update also includes a fix for fingerprint gesture-related instabilities. As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it might take time for the update notification to pop up on your device, so be patient.

Getting the November security update just a day after my fiance got it on her Pixel 2 is pretty good.
