New update hitting Sony Xperia XZ1, XZ Premium, and Nokia 8

Himanshu, 19 December 2017

Sony has started rolling out a new update to its Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact, and XZ Premium devices. Arriving as build number 47.1.A.8.49, it's a security update that brings along Android fixes for the month of December.

There's currently no information on what other changes (if any) are included in the update. As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it may take time for the update to reach your device, so be patient.

Moving on, the Nokia 8 has also started receiving the December patch. The update weighs in at around 87MB, and currently hitting models TA-1052 and TA-1012.
