And whats the disadvantage of doing that it depends on the version of ios it is running, but all versions which can run on this can be jailbroken, you just need to look online for a tutorial. as for risks, i personally havent encountered any while jailbreaking, however please be aware that with a jailbroken device you can install unofficial apps which may have viruses, so just be careful what you download :) happy jailbreaking !

no, not worth it at all. it's slow, you can't download most apps (including youtube and tiktok),
and it's not supported anymore. might as well get the ipad mini 4.

i still use the ipad mini 1 in 2022 i jailbreaked mine so i can watch youtube and i use madusa to use instagram and whatever else at the same time but its not too bad as long as you jailbreak it
