BenQ-Siemens EF91, S81, EF51

Today in Barcelona BenQ-Siemens presented three new models of their mobile phone portfolio. The EF51 flip-down music phone, the EF91 3G clamshell and the S81 3G bar phone.

The EF51 music phone is 89 x 49 x 18 mm big, weighs 95 g and has flip-down design. The music playback control keys are on the flip. It runs with a Renesas SH-Mobile J2SL processor and has 64 MB SDRAM memory. It also has 20 MB for storage and a miniSD slot. The display of the phone is a 1.6" LCD with 262K colors and 128 x 128 pixels resolution. The device also has 1.3 megapixel camera and FM radio tuner. EF51 supports Bluetooth and USB. The BenQ-Siemens EF51 will be available in Q2 2006 in white and black color variants. Prices will be determined locally.

EF91 uses HSDPA technology and has a 3.2 megapixel camera. The 3G phone is 92 x 46.5 x 23.5 mm big and weighs 100 g. Its external display is 1.0" 96 x 64 pixels OLED with 65K colors and its internal one is 2.0" 240 x 320 pixels LTPS with 262K colors. The built-in camera has autofocus, 7x digital zoom and LED flash features. The EF91 also has a VGA camera for video conversations. It also has 32 MB internal memory and a microSD slot. The phone also supports Bluetooth and USB. The BenQ-Siemens EF91 will be available in the summer 2006 in different color variants. Prices will be determined locally.

The S81 UMTS bar phone is 109 x 48 x 13 mm big and weighs 99 g. The phone has a ARM9 180 Mhz processor. It is also equipped with a 2.0" 176 x 220 pixels LCD with 262K colors. It has two cameras, the first is 1.3 megapixel, with 10x digital zoom and LED flash, and the other is a VGA camera for video conversations. S81 has 30 MB internal memory and a microSD slot. It supports Bluetooth and USB. The BenQ-Siemens S81 will be available in Q2 2006 in Black/Silver color variant. Prices will be determined locally.
