Lenovo Tab Plus launches with 11.5" screen, eight JBL speakers, integrated kickstand

Today Lenovo has unveiled the new Tab Plus, an 11.5-inch tablet that's all about entertainment. Thus, it comes with eight JBL speakers and an integrated kickstand with up to 175 degrees of "viewing flexibility", Lenovo says. It can also transform into a Bluetooth speaker if you want it to - not physically, mind you, this just means you can connect to it with your phone as if it were a Bluetooth speaker and easily play stuff on its speakers.

It comes with a personalized app volume control feature, which for example can automatically crank up the volume when a specific app is open, lower the volume when another app is in the foreground, and so on.

The LCD screen has 90 Hz refresh rate, 2000x1200 resolution, and 400-nit maximum brightness. The tablet is powered by MediaTek's Helio G99 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of expandable storage.

There's an 8 MP camera on the rear, and an 8 MP one on the front too. The Tab Plus has a 3.5mm headphone jack, an 8,600 mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging, and it runs Android 14 with OS upgrades promised for two years and security patches until June 2028.

So do I. I am okay with my phones speakers. The only argument me and others made was that the speakers in that tablet won't be that good due to the lack of space. It's better than having worse speakers, but ultimately will inflate the budge...

Stop fantasizing how i live my life when you are not capable of it ! I rather live in the past with one device that does everything rather then in modern where you need a device to do one task and other device to do other task

I have a Creative Muvo Play. Doesn't weigh much, isn't big and it completely blows the sound this thing can produce out of the water. Cheap too at 35€ here. I think you are stuck in the past, with no clue how much electronics advanced.
