I have to cycle the blue tooth, and even the corded earpiece multiple times before i can hear anything. This phone needs an overall on it's use.

overall great phone, i'm more of an advanced user so i prefer to enable superuser (root) privileges on my devices, but it's not possible with this phone due to the bootloader being configured in a very weird way. for normal usage though, i'd say it's an excellent phone.

the phone is not bad but the user interface is a mess. Often when the phone rings, there is some screen up that blocks me from answering the phone. try to attach a pic to a text msg and you will quit in frustration.

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2022Any phone that falls or gets dropped can end up with a brok... moreI have mine in a folding case and the screen has broken three times because it is so big and uses sh*tty glas and the edge is exposed even in the case. It's just too big. No problem with my old g7 power. This has a great speaker though but I noticed the 90mhz screen reduces battery life. my g7power would last for three days after I turned off all the bullsh*t this one barely lasts two. I don't play games or watch movies. mainly want long battery to run my hiking gps apps. Takes pretty good pictures.

After buying a new G Stylus 2021 with an unlocked bootloader, Motorola sent me the G stylus 5G as a replacement. The phone works well with zero issues. My only problem is that I believe these manufacturers could start allowing 3rd party icons with their launchers. I'm loving the no app drawer option but the icons suck. Lawndesk isn't fully compatible and it's buggy. Using Nova until someone fixes Lawndesk or bring an alternative. But, this phone is a great phone to have. Depending on the specs of the 2023 version, I'll definitely upgrade.
