17 Apr, 2007

Nokia has made a second step into making Symbian smartphones a more affordable buy - the Nokia 6120 classic will be their new smartphone and much like the Nokia E50 it will be a fully functional smartphone on a budget.

The Nokia 6120 classic is a HSDPA-enabled device that comes powered by the well-known Symbian OS 9.2 with the 3rd edition of the Series 60 user interface. The powerhouse behind this well established OS is a 369 MHz CPU. The Nokia 6120 classic additionally has stereo Bluetooth support, a miniUSB jack, FM radio and a microSD memory card slot.

The goodies that it offers don't end here since the mobile also comes equipped with 2" 16M colors TFT display with a QVGA resolution, a 2 megapixel camera as well as a secondary frontal camera for video calls. And all of that is fitted into a compact body weighing only 84 g which practically makes it the lightest Nokia GSM smartphone ever.

The Nokia 6120 classic is expected to start shipping in Q2/2007 with an estimated retail price of only 260EUR.
