OnePlus launched its first foldable smartphone called the OnePlus Open last October, but you'll have to wait longer for its successor since it won't arrive this year.

The word comes from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, who claimed the OnePlus Open 2 will launch in Q1 2025, meaning it could come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC at the helm instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

The tipster also said that the OnePlus Open 2 will have an upgraded hinge, a thin design, and a folding screen with even less of a crease. The smartphone will pack a high-resolution cover screen and could feature a periscope camera.

Since the OnePlus Open was a version of the Oppo Find N3, the Find N4/N5 should be similar to the OnePlus Open 2.
