Hi. Just make it quick. Phone itself is great, but oppo support is really bad - last software update was released in November 2019, that means security updates are from 5th of November

It isn't a dual-sim phone, hybrid or otherwise. There is one sim slot, and one micro-sd slot. The micro-sd is not a hybrid sim slot. I've learnt the hard way having just bought this phone expecting it to be dual sim (my previous phones have been hybrid dual sim).

Hi.. I have a problem with the night eye protection light that comes on between 10pm and 6am.. it comes on at those times no matter what.. it is turned off in the settings and I have tried setting different times for it to come on and off but I can not find a way to get it to go off.. been into Telstra and they had no idea either.. anyone have a solution please??

you cant use dual sim with this version.
OPPO has been known to always have dual SIM slots and most are so used to it, but with Reno 5G, there's only one SIM slot available. This has been designed to the current demand of 5G in the market as well as the readiness of Mobile Operators (MO).

Brian K, 15 Nov 2019The 5G model doesn't support dual sim... This page is misleading Dude, it's not misleading. It's clearly written "Hybrid Dual SIM", it means that the 2nd sim slot can be used for 2nd Sim or memory card!!! Read first clearly before posting non-sense!
It's even mentioned a 2nd time: "Card slot microSD, up to 256 GB (uses shared SIM slot)"
BTW, the manufacturer writes 256gb memory card but have a 512gb running perfectly.

careful with this phone, does NOT work within UK. handset may be unlock, but your 5G service provider might have not unlock it for use in their network especially if it's not one of the phones they are selling.

I've been using the Oppo Reno 5G for the past three months, and haven't experienced any screen responsiveness issues. In fact, I haven't noticed any issues with functionalities at all. The only "problem" is when I am connected to 5G (that's when I am in the Melbourne CBD) the battery seems to drain quickly. Guess this is something to do with 5G reception, because when I switch to 4G, the battery lasts longer.
In any case, perhaps you shouldn't have bought it off Gumtree? I realise it might have been a good bargain, but if I were you I would've bought it outright from Telstra (If you're in Oz - I got mine on a plan), or JB-HiFi.

i bought this phone. Dual sim, Cph1921 as stated - which is registered as the 5G version. there is an "Auto-5G" switch in the Settings menu.
my only problem is it cannot find a 5G signal in areas in the UK where there is supposed to have 5G signal from operators lik Vodafone, EE, etc..

I am in Sydney .....I didn't know Reno 5g is already out ......where did you buy it from ?? I am still using a pixel 2 xl and it has be just as smooth as the day I got it 2 years ago
