My Samsung A23 5g (Galaxy A 236B) has a very slow charging problem after updating to One UI6.
I installed Ampere.apk, and with One UI6, my Samsung A 23 5g, shows charge at ~450mAh (ie 10-11 hours for 0-100% charge, and that's unacceptable).
I solved the problem with a downgrade to One UI 5.1. (Android 13 - with stock firmware A236BXXS4CWK2 )
After the downgrade, my Samsung A23 5g shows (in the Ampere app) that it is charging at 1720 mAh, (ie 3 hours to charge 0-100%).
Conclusion: One UI6 has a software bug, which causes very slow loading on Samsung A23 5G.
I really hope that the upcoming release of One UI 6.1 will fix this major software issue!

I just noticed there isn't an ... morethere is a 8GB ram version but only available in India and some middle eastern countries like UAE/Dubai... the Samsung USA website listed the 8GB version, so I assume the USA got the 8GB version as well when they were still selling it.

Anonymous, 27 Feb 2024Am I the only one who experiences camera frame drops when c... moreIF U have the 4GB RAM version, then maybe you have enabled the RamPlus - which slows down the phone very much. MY advice and its from someone else good tip are as follows:
Disable adaptive display (force 60Hz), disable all animations in developer settings, AND disable RamPlus. The phone feels quicker, snappier and faster than ever before now and is actually a nice experience. You will definitely see the difference.
Unfortunately the camera, while somewhat improved, is still a bit sluggish.

Am I the only one who experiences camera frame drops when capturing photos and even videos on the main camera since the latest update? Even on messenger or any other apps that requires a camera it randomly lags especially when you focus or it auto focus the camera.

After three years of owning this phone, it has very suddenly started to have serious issues, sometimes not even turning on. Apparently, there is a common bad connection within the memory and the motherboard.

From the beginning I am unable to find "show while charging". I always have to wake my screen to see the charging percentage.

Been using this phone for almost 2 months already and have not faced any major issues, it's just the front camera. When it gets dark or like night time, it's not that impressive. Using the front cam on messenger app, when you video record, zooming in has a very noticable delay. And for some unknown reason, when it's night time or like light is not that present, camera shutter speed takes a bit too long to process before you could capture abother pic; it's the same scenario for both back and front cam.
