Samsung Galaxy A (2017) series go sale in the UK

Yordan, 03 February 2017

Samsung silently launched the new A series smartphones across the globe and now they made their way to the United Kingdom. We already told you Galaxy A7 (2017) won’t be sold on most European markets but Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017) are available in Samsung’s UK online store and all the UK’s major carriers.

Galaxy A3 (2017) is the smaller device - 4.7” display with HD resolution and Exynos 7870 processor. There is 2 GB RAM and 16GB internal storage but there is a microSD slot. Sadly, the device is with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The price is £279 with free delivery if you order it from the online store and comes in four colors - Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud.

Galaxy A5 (2017) is the bigger brother in the A-series family and as such has bigger display - 5.2”, better resolution - FullHD and mightier chipset - Exynos 7880. Memory is also better with 3GB RAM and the internal storage is 32 GB. All these extra specs come for slightly more quid - it costs £369. The color options are the same four as in the A3 (2017).

Both devices are waterproof with slick design and have many of the features the flagship Galaxy S7/S7 Edge has like the Always-On Display. Sadly, both devices are with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 but they are too good to be snubbed because of the OS.

Hmmm, actually he/she IS right. True, Samsung has implemented Multi-window since the S3, but the A3 (2017) doesn't have it in Marshmallow. Here's the review for ya..... http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a3_2017-review-1554p4.php
