I've had my 5G since July 2019, and apart from a cheap touch screen device in 2009, it was my first Samsung flagship. I went for the 5G at considerable monthly expense, because I wanted it to be a capable camera right up until my next upgrade after 24 months. However, I didn't upgrade, and I still haven't. I now use the phone with a sim-only contract and that's due to just how good the 5G still is. Battery life is becoming 3-4 hours on a full charge, and I am down to the last 20gb of the 256gb, but I haven't noticed any slowdown in app responce, I think it might have locked up just once in 5 years. As a professional photographer, I've used the camera in my work on a few occasions, where the Macro function on the telephoto lens is useful for capturing small, awkwardly placed details a DSLR could not fit into. And the biggest reason why I still use this phone after nearly 5 years is because of the camera array. The pixel counts are modest, but across 4 rear lenses, it's delightfully versatile and in the first 3 years, the camera was continuously updated with almost every Samsung patch. The suite of quick filters included a stunning, high contrast Black and White mode, and on the last update, they included an AI Object Erase function in the Gallery app. Overall, this is the best investment I've ever made in a phone, and I would be genuinely upset if it stops working, because I don't think I'd easily replace the breadth of its talents at a price per month I'd be willing to pay now.

Fwench fwy, 18 Dec 2023Which is better this phone or the S21 ultra?? Go for the s21 ultra but if you're on a tight budget, go for a 2nd hand s10 5g, you can install custom rom which can make the device run android 14, pixel experience

What has me thin... moreI can only say this: "Flagship is still a Flagship" even there are no OS upgrade anymore, you may use latest midrange like A72 or Chinese OEM, but i must say the camera result is still much better with flagship especially on low light, the processor even outdate is still a lot faster than midrange especially for gaming but at the cost battery life much shorter than midrange because the chiipset is set for performance than battery life like midrange, security? Dont care since i am not a Very Very Important Person like president or big CEO

Unfortunately, it seems like most of the typically recommended brands have run out of stock for their S10 5G cases, and because the S10 5G is a different size from all other S10 models, you can't just buy a normal S10 case and expect it to fit.

Kida, 20 Oct 2023I wanna buy the phone but i am worring about its 60hz refre... moreI've been using mine for the past 1 year. It's a very nice phone. If you can overlook the 60hz RR and no OS updates, then it's a capable phone. Otherwise go for the S20+ or S21+.

I still use it and I think it's still good enough for now. The OLED screen looks awesome. A 60hz refresh rate isn't the best, but it isn't terrible either.
If you can find one for a good price, go for it. You might be able to find newer phones for good prices too though.
