Security update hitting Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 edge on Rogers

Canadian carrier Rogers has updated its OS Upgrade Schedule to reflect that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge units on its network are getting a new security update. Aside from the flagship duo, the Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note5 units are also receiving a security patch.

The Galaxy S6 flagship duo will get the next security update starting June 30, while Google's Pixel phones will get the next patch starting July 3. Motorola Moto Z Play and LG V20 units on Rogers will start getting a security update June 27 and June 28 onwards, respectively.

Earlier this month, they also patched the S8, A5 and Tab S2.
