Sony Xperia XZ3 press renders leak ahead of announcement
It is time for IFA 2018. The most expected announcement is the flagship Sony Xperia XZ3 that appeared at numerous benchmarks and revealed four color options earlier this month.
Now, just hours before the official unveiling, the full press renders of the Xperia XZ3 from all sides appeared online, leaving practically nothing to the imagination.
Looking at the renders, it seems like Sony decided to skip the trendy notch for now. The device will have tall screen and what appears to be a curved edge of the screen on both sides. The fingerprint scanner will stay in the center of the back panel, similar to what was introduced in the Xperia XZ2 and later refined in its Premium variant.

While the XZ2 Premium finally migrated to the dual-camera setup with a monochrome sensor for the secondary shooter, the Xperia XZ3 looks like will return back to the one-cam main setup. There’s a slight chance it could have a 48 MP Quad Bayer sensor.

At IFA 2017 the Xperia XZ1 was among the first phones to get Android Oreo out of the box and the new Xperia XZ3 is about to get the latest OS as well, if we can trust the Geekbench listing from yesterday. The flagship will also have at least 4 GB RAM and Snapdragon 845, but that will hardly be a surprise.
