vivo inches closer to the EU, arrives in Ukraine

Yordan, 19 June 2019

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer vivo might be one of the best-selling companies across the world, but it is yet to appear on most European markets (it is already available in the transcontinental countries of Russia and Kazakhstan).

According to sources, vivo has already posted job offers in Ukraine in addition to its already prepared web pages for the former CIS country. There are also Facebook and Instagram accounts, although they are yet to post anything. By the looks of it, the first vivo phones to appear in Ukraine are the vivo V15 Pro and vivo Y17, both of them with three cameras on the back.

According to Tehnot, the company is recruiting key staff like a PR Manager, Designers, Directors, Managers, and Sales Supervisors. All the job offers were posted yesterday on Work.ua, and the source has also revealed where the Service Centre would be localized.

Although an arrival to Ukraine might not be the biggest of news, vivo expanding more and more to the West is definitely a good sign for fans in other European markets. Another competitor on the field means the prices will keep going down and the diversity of mobile devices will keep growing even more, and that’s what the users ultimately deserve.
