Gigabyte gets a piece of the action
Not to be outdone by Eten, Gigabyte are announcing a teaser of their upcoming phones that they will be presenting at the World Mobile Congress (WMC) 2008 in Barcelona this February. The Gigabyte GSmart MW700 and the Gigabyte GSmart MS800 are the highlight of the new products by the Taiwanese manufacturer.
The Gigabyte GSmart MW700 is a Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional devices boasting HSDPA networks data transfers and running on a Marvell 520 MHz processor. It has a thickness of 15 mm and 2.8-inch touchscreen display. It's also got a built-in GPS receiver.
Again at 15 mm thickness, the Gigabyte GSmart MS800 is among the slimmest HSDPA GPS-enabled handset on the market. It's also running on WinMo 6.0 Pro and has a 2.8-inch touchscreen display.
Gigabyte will also be presenting a DVB-T/DVB-H TV-enabled Pocket PC. But that's it for now; more details will be available once we hit the WMC 2008 in a week.
