You know people can say all they want, but we need to look at the REAL facts ?
For all the endless phones Samsung, Nokia and LG are trying to churn out now in their GAZILLIONS, they only have one thing in mind. - To try to stem their bleeding and loss of SMARTPHONE market share from Apple. It is obvious now 'Dumbphones' are not the way to go, SE and Motorola have learnt from this harsh experience as we can see they have fallen with their poor line-up of smartphones.
Having tonnes of features and lots of bells and whistles while not having Applications to diversify the capabilities of your phone is almost like an Empty Vessel, no substance and soul inside.
And all poor Samsung, Nokia and LG users can do is GAWK and ENVY their Apple counterparts who entertain themselves endlessly with a bevy of applications downloaded from the App Store while other users start to cry foul and lament. " Oh wow! Look my LG phone snaps 12 Megapixel pictures and the S-Class interface is so Beautiful! Look my Samsung phone records Excellent videos! Look my Nokia is so Smart! "
At the end of the Day, how long can these so-called Powerful features, bells and whistles last them? Probably a day or so. Then inferior complexity kicks in , they start dissing the iPhone. LOL
But the point is, for all the millions of phones Sammy, LG and Nokia are churning out, Sure, Apple loses on this count . But people forgot that the one with the highest profit margins and growth is our Dear Apple who humbly released the same iPhone model with little changes but it has already got the mobile world in flames!

iPhone is a beautiful phone with a wonderful UI... It's a smart phone... But there is simply no need to mention it here (I personally have iPhone as it's my preference). In saying that though, for those who want a cameraphone (which is obviously what this is) then this would be the one to go for. LG camera's have always stood out for me with their lens quality so here's hoping they've pulled this one off too...

sound good but wait and see the results photo and video quality ,
I personally believe that this camera monster phone produce only quantity not quality but we'll see, I ware very disappointing with samsung pixon12 especially with Xenon flash, I think Nokia will made the best 12mpx camera phone.

God I came on here to find out what everybody thinks of this phone and instead I get a bunch of fanboys playing favourites. Am I missing something here? What is it about EVERY...SINGLE...TOUCHSCREEN PHONE that makes people yap on about a two year old phone? I actually like that handset, however...SHOCK HORROR! I like this one too!
Nokia, Apple, LG et al are not sports teams so stop with the stupid rivalry and judge this handset on merits and if you want to talk about the iphone...go to the F@#KING iphone forum!
My comment? That back panel needs redesigning as it looks too similar to the original Viewty for my taste.

This is clearly a marvellous piece of engineering. Why, however, have manufacturers been reluctant to put optical zoom on their camera modules?

i don't understand why this is a Phone. Could be a Camera and Video recorder along with some Mp3 and Video Watching.
In fact thats what it is, just LG added the ability of making phone calls along with some Software for keeping Contacts and Messages.
It is silly to call those devices Smart-Phones , nothing smart in 12mp Camera, my Sony camera has that. This is what it says CAMERA Phone, not smart phone, so stop comparing with other devices iPhone, Htc and others... Get a normal digital camera ffs !!!

As much as i want to love this phone, 3.2 inches is waayyy to small for me. Satio, I'm still waiting.
However, if this phone can successfully have a hd audio recording in a higher bit rate than the I8910 HD, i maaaaayy consider it. but if its not a smartphone....blargh.
