i dont like all the white colors lollipop brings, why not give us option to chose themes? i prefer dark and black its better for eyes and battery. .cant stand all that white shit in the look :(

I went from Iphone to Note 4 as well! Hardware is great and I use the solo launcher and it works very good for me! Samsung Galaxy note 4 feels like an independent pocketable PC while an Iphone only felt like an extension of my Imac.

Left the iphone franchise, started with the original. Got a note 4, tired of the same iphone every year. Love the new note 4, however I find it interesting that some phones in the android line don't even have the latest version of kit kat. This seems unacceptable to me. Why not give everyone the same opportunities. I hope that I have not made a mistake switching operating systems. Also, with the note 4 being a "flag ship", I would assume that would be priority #1 for Samsung? Can anyone explain this for an android rookie????

Meanwhile since not everyone was born as an oil magnate in Saudi Arabia they have to adapt and be smart with time, hence they use smartphones to accomplish that task -- yes, even those who have critical business dealings to attend to.

As long as Touchwiz is still a buggy+sluggish POS I'd never buy a Samsung device no matter how nice it looks. Gotta admit this is looking good though. Will see with S5.

Microsoft were the first company to sign up to the NSA "Prism" spying program & Apple deny they ever signed up to it, to this day, which makes them absolutely guilty & worse.

Some of us don't want to be locked down in Eco systems.
I'm sure Samdung will screw Lollipop up, but that's why i won't be buying one of their handsets amytime soon.
HTC Sense 5/6 was completely ripped off by Google for the design of Lollipop & the hardware design & even the manufacturing proceeses were stolen by Apple for the iPhone 6, so props to them. The little guys are the ones that innovate & push envelopes, the establishment justs plays it safe...

When will Android ever be right. Every time there is an update there is much fanfare over small updates and widow dressing. If it was "smooth" in the first place there would not be all this ranking on about about small incremental updates. Big headlines "Lolipop". Come on. Just get it right the first time. I agree Android is becoming bloated and full of Google spyware on your every movement. Is it any wonder many top end business people is critical areas will not have a smart phone - too easy to spy on you.

Price is of the essence! You can focus on RAM size and abstract comparisons all you want, the simple fact is I can go out and buy a good Android (from a reputable brand) with 1GB of RAM (or more) for way less than the devices which you are comparing it to -- and all your argument becomes pointless, because price just undercut all your attempts to make a flawed comparison.
It's a trade-of and a damn good one! Android may not have the best efficiency when limited to bellow 512MB of RAM (it still works well enough though, as my ancient Arc S with CM11 can vouch for) but RAM has become so cheap now that it's pointless to *buy* software that is efficient in that lower-end when you can just get the hardware for *cheaper* than the software which aims to replace that hardware.
It's just good economics and smart decisions.
