                I simply do not see how OTA can be any safer than the method which had to be created for you to recover your phone from a failed OTA... but to each its own opinion.

                    Samsung is so sick there major aim is to update phones without providing software updates in time. I don't even see why they had to bring s5 so soon with such creepy specs that's why apple is still leading them.. I think I will go back to ma htc

                      I personally think that these are good news...However, we all know Samsung...What they say, is probably not true. They're always late (very very late) with the software updates... Custom rom is not an option for me, i personally like to get the updates via OTA by carriers, which is (for me) a lot safer. (Everyone has a different opinion about this, lets respect each others views) I also think that there is a lot more GT-I9505 Galaxy S4 phones because Samsung finished the 9500 ones after a few months... So lets hope Samsung will be good to their customers and give them updates at the right time, and not too lately as they usually do.

                        Don't take it too serious about update from Samsung. You'll be disappointed after all. Yeah, as you know, its Samsung, its typical.

                          The exynos is the more powerful version. No wonder it's getting updated faster.

                          For comparison, the CPU of i9500 scres 2400-2500 on geekbench 3 while i9505 doesn't even reach 2000.

                            Don't really know why 9500 is getting it earlier, while there are more 9505 users. Though it's probably because someone who has 9505 already ditched crappy bloated official rom and has a custom 4.4 rom. For those saying s4 users will upgrade to s6... I for one will not, s4 was my first and last samsung phone. Will probably get nexus 6 to get rid of stupid carrier/oem update support delays.

                              cmon guys. most of what's been flaunted on the lollipop is what the TouchWiz provided. its just that google had finally followed the custom skins created by dev manufacturers. here they *simplifies* the os and they added color and fancy animations to make the droid look nicer. all this new "functionality" been tossed around its been long available in the TouchWiz android skin. i bet even some cyanogen mods has them. google is playing catch up now to the custom options made already to thier tech. they think so little sometimes, man i still wish sammy puts more weight behind tizen/bada dev and put a stop to this long waits between os updates. anyway an update should be for fixin issues or enhancing certain funtions on a device hope there will be improvement after lollipop update.

                                S4 owners are waiting for S6, so people are hardly bothered. But its very nice GESTURE by samsung. Highly appreciated

                                  Samsung is not able to understand their customer preferences and they are obsoleting their Top End phones like its nothing for them.. You think we should go for other Samsung high end phones???

                                  Regular updates is what everyone is looking for and Samsung is going in dark for that. Not Good..

                                  Samsung, Do something before it gets too late..
