It should be Macrosoft because their phones are bulky.

I don't care! When's the next flagship coming? Should I buy 930 or wait? That's what I care about!

AnonD-310846, 03 Nov 2014The L830 have more pixels. This Rm-1090 have less, and the ... moreYou might want to use your brain.
Pixels do not have a big impact on batterylife.

          For example:

          Nokia Lumia 1320, 6 inch, 720p, 3400 mAh
          75h endurance rating
          Nokia Lumia 1520, 6inch, 1080p, 3400 mAh
          107h endurance rating
Here is the used chipset responsable for the difference

          Second example
          Motorola Moto G (2013), 4,5 inch, 720p, 2070 mAh
          54h endurance rating
          Motorola Moto G (2014), 5,0 inch, 720p, 2070 mAh
          50h endurance rating
Here the difference in screensize is responsable for the difference

Screensize-batterycapacity ratio and the used chipset is way more important for the battery live.

Miss my old Windows mobile phones that had that microsoft logo which was enough to give it a premium next generation looking device feel while other amateurs were fiddling with Symbion OS and its media player and polyphonic ringtones

Their is no problem with brand Nokia. But the culprits were the people who were running the company. Moreover they could not correctly anticipate the growth of Android. Symbian could have been Android, had they put more money, research and "Brain" behind it. I think Nokia was already "sold" to Microsoft many years back. For Microsoft Nokia is an investment and they would surely want to get the most out of it. It's just simple business sense.

AnonD-34979, 03 Nov 2014Like all the Low end Android craps and the overpriced iCrap ?No. But, as always better than any android of the same price and better price than any "ithing", but i prefer a high end Lumia indeed. Skipped 930 just because of battery life. 1520 is just out of my tastes despite of excellent battery. Would love a latest chips Lumia with metal rim, full of features, super battery, 20+5mpx cams, and 8mm thick.

Nokia is a shame by it's own. Remember to Nokia's crap phones since 2009.

I'm curious, is it just me waiting for high performance (business class, not cheap plastic) WP in smaller body (4-4,7" screen)?
I know - most of "professional reviewers" for some (most likely personal, subconscious) reason thinks, that "bigger is better". But, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who thinks that phones should be smaller than 5" "shovel".
Interesting, do those reviewers and Microsoft guys think, that only "must buy" car is Hummer?

I don't mind that the Nokia logo is gone, although it makes people think about quality and durability when they see it. Microsoft is a top company too, and seeing the Microsoft logo won't change things. In this model, i don't like the positioning of the logo at the back of the phone. I think that it will be more appealing if it's positioned horizontally.

I will never again buy a lumia with this microsoft branding.

This is a total stupidity from MS to remove Nokia brand name,What Lenovo is doing with Motorola is an example for them to keep the original Company name & co-exist with another company.I will never buy a Lenovo smartphone if the change Motorola brand to lenovo.
