So I think Sony will take at least a year to launch this phone, as they did at the time of X1. Till that time new players will be there.
I love Sony products but they are late to launch their phones after announcement.

another test product from se like X1 with winmo. i hear X is mean Xperimental so if this product cannot hit market will throw to rubbish. i think se will keep on Symbian because se owner of Symbian UIQ & Symbian UIQ is use on Symbian Open Source [S60 + UIQ + MOAP]

They need to do what apple has done and just get this out there as good as they can as soon as they can, then over time develope the UI so it performs better and add things users request. There also needs to be a lot more development for third party apps for android, as it's potential is endless as it's open source. Personally I think the UI looks flashy rather than intuitive, but am really keen to give it a go and get proven wrong. Maybe I can finally get rid of my iPhone

Beautiful phone, the design AND features of the X2 has me drooling, well done Sony Ericsson. I was in the process of preparing to buy the N97 but seeing the X2 has put a halt on all considerations. I think i'm definitely gonna wait until this phone is out...did i mention how beautiful it was!?

It's not Toshiba, not HTC, not anyone, but SE. I know for a fact it's made entirely by SE and not some ODM.

Wow, I am Blown away by that 4" Screen, this ph has every thing - 3.5 jack, micro usb, also has FM which is lacking in rest of Android ph's. Is this really Sony Ericsson or some one else. Used to be a big SE fan but have been criticizing them for not giving what we want. This is Awsome, didn't think Sony Eric would ever wake up, love you once again SE. I cant wait for it... burn the midnight Oil, work overtime and get this killer out sooon.

More evidence that the convergence of a major handset maker and a flexible OS will yield a device we as techies can salivate over.
