                    It's the 5.5" invasion !!!!!

                    In 3 years:

                    Mini = 5.5
                    Normal = 5.6
                    Phablet = 5.7

Although I am not expecting for Samsung to price this competitively around $200, I hope they would. If this gets tagged higher than $250, 4X is an easy pick for me but if this is marked around $250 or less, then I would have to decide more carefully. I would love it that they would give me a tough time to choose

                              Similarly spec'd with Honor 4X. 4X has 2GB RAM, removable Li-Po 3000 mAh batt, and Sony-made rear/main camera but only has 8GB storage (expandable up to 32 via MicroSD) and only shoots 720p with its front camera

                                In Nigeria a dual sim phone is very necessary. The grand series are among the best. So grand 3 is a YES for me.

                                  So this phone (Galaxy Grand 3) will have the SAME specifications as Galaxy Grand 2... What a shame.

                                  It's even bigger disappointment than the Grand 2 was. This phone will be as laggy as Grand 2. Still only 1.2 Ghz CPU with only Adreno 306 (same as 305) with 720p screen resolution. 720p should have at least Adreno 320 to get reasonable performance.

                                    AnonD-276125, 04 Nov 2014Correct me if im wrong but isnt "ARMv7" 32-bit? T... moreThat is what I thought, too. I asked a similar question regarding this matter when the benchmark for 9.2" MiPad, which would come with S410, came about in GSMA (search my comment on that particular article). Maybe the benchmark possibly could not read this CPU as ARMv8. Is it not true that A53 is currently present in ARMv8's only?

                                    Anyhow, as far as I have searched, MSM8916 is the only existing S410 as of this moment, the same CPU that powers Honor 4X.

                                    Although I expect Samsung to be pricing this excessively, I sure do hope this Grand 3 will be competitively priced against Honor 4X which has a similar spec. 'Cause if Samsung price this higher than $212, it's an easy pick for me, otherwise, I'll have trouble pitting the two with paper spec-on-spec.

                                    Similarities (Grand 3 vs Honor 4X):
                                    Screen size: 5.5"
                                    Display resolution: 720p
                                    CPU + GPU: Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 64-bit 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 with Adreno 306 GPU
                                    Front camera: 5MP

                                    Differences:
                                    RAM: 1.5GB vs 2GB
                                    ROM: 16GB (no info of expandability) vs 8GB (expandable via MicroSD)
                                    Battery: Unknown vs Li-Po 3000 mAh (removable)
                                    Rear camera: 13MP (unknown) vs 13MP (Sony-made)
                                    Video recording: 1080p (front and rear) vs 1080p (rear), 720p (front)
                                    Dimensional depth: Unknown vs 7.9mm
                                    OS version: 4.4.4 KitKat vs 4.4.x KitKat
                                    Shipment date: Unknown vs November 6
                                    Price: Unknown vs $212

                                    Build quality and user experience is subjective to consumer's tastes/requirements. Until I get a hold of both (at least on a demo unit), I personally would not mind TouchWiz touch ups if it has features I would like. I also would not mind a Chinese company marketing an originally China-assembled or -made phone over a South Korean-based company selling phones assembled or made in China :-)

                                    As there is no certainty or official announcement as of now that Grand 3 will be fed with a Lollipop update in the future, I would not worry about Huawei possibly not being able to seed Lollipop to 4X.

                                    Yet I would have to choose the value that would fit my budget
