phoneaddict, 05 Nov 2014To me there is no point designing a thin phone then carry a... moreNot only that it WILL like ALL THIN PHONES have a camera bump

This is due to the fact that the lense cannot be shrunk

Apple DID photo shop the iPhone6 to 'reduce' the size of the camera

All the images of the Vivo X5 Max I have seen are IMO shot in a way to reduce the camera bump appearance

I would not be surprised if any of the "official" photos have been "manipulated"

The Vivo X5 Max is half as thin as the thinnest phone I have ever used, that said it is also much heavier

Ouch! OPPO R5 was just announced as the thinnest smartphone at 4.85 mm and now Vivo X5 is soon to be announced as the world's thinnest smartphone at 4.75 mm. Sure, 0.10mm doesn't make much difference in reality but on paper, it's still a difference. So sad that Oppo can't call R5 the world's thinnest smartphone anymore. Lol

phoneaddict, 05 Nov 2014To me there is no point designing a thin phone then carry a... moreAnd the battery is not the only issue. Worse cameras, worse speakers, more heating and bending too. Thin phones=peaces of garbage.
I carry a portable charger too (And i'm totally not comfortable with this. Even if the phone is 20mm thick it will still be much more comfortable than a thin phone+portable charger). And that's because i just don't have a choice - all phones are peaces of garbage and don't offer a day with non-stop use. I'd buy an expensive and thick phone, but there isn't any, even at "premium" price.

I don't get what's the purpose of these chinese making a super thin phone... there is no 3.5mm audio jack and always low capacity battery. 9mm to 10mm is enough!

To me there is no point designing a thin phone then carry a portable charger everywhere we go. Usually thin phone looses battery wise. Designing thin phone I believe is for designer who failed mathematics.

                                    EG.
1 THIN PHONE + PORTABLE CHARGER = 1 BULKY PHONE WITH PROTRUDING WIRE/CABLE

                                    Should only design:-
1 THICK PHONE (Big battery capacity) = 1 THICK PHONE (No extra cable)

                                    Advantage of 1 thick phone
                                    1. Longer battery life
                                    2. Only 1 hand will be holding the phone (the other hand can do something else compared to holding a thin phone and a charger
