well ...sammy inted of wasting time implementing tochlaggizz ..should use the stock version wich is original beauty and no lag....use less ram than it ll once personalization is added to the device..good hardware but poor performance related to daily usage....good for games but bettery dies in seconds....

You're demeaning comment is no excuse for this FUgly UI.
The fact is that the Black Edition (only S4 for now) is the best looking Galaxy phone with the least compromised tech inside. I would have gotten an Alpha. Which also looks nice but that tiny battery and Samsung's stupid decision to ditch the SD-card-slot made me go for a GT-I9515 Black Edition instead.

What strikes me the most is that Sony whom DON'T use amoled-screens in their devices have a gorgeous black notification area with white toggles (see screenshot from GSMarena itself). This is MUCH better than Samsung's blueish grey theme of touchwiz. Why can't they use something like that ESPECIALLY on those "Black Edition"-devices. Sony also use themes that changes colours o/t dialer and other apps too. We NEED something like that!
Google should step up! And introduce system-wide themes (or at least colour-schemes). Other phones have had this for ages (old Sony-Ericsson and Nokia devices). Even Symbian has themes that changes amongst others dialer-colours and textures.

lollipop. . . so thats it, they are going to make my cellphone a fruity pebble with this material design thing thay google cant stop yapin about? hope sammy will reduce the childish colors and make a tastefull TouchWiz skin for this lollipop even the name sounds so silly. dont get me wrong the ART implementation is a good step but this colorful approach seems kinda immature from Google.
