I welcome any innovation but android as an os need to follow that progress. As you know apple has already instructed developers to make apps based on 64 bit process! While android is far behind on that. So with all that high specs just wasted

Do you actually believe that these "engineers" made the decision to put 4K screens on the phone? If so, you have alot to learn about corporations. That guy didn't have to build a phone to state his opinion. He is the end user. MUCH more important than the engineer because he is the one who ensures the engineer has a job.

A good technology by Samsung. But i feel rather than increasing ppi, note 5 should focus on other features say battery saving, performance,
security, camera etc etc. After 270 - 275 ppi, human eye cannot see pixels causing retina display. So resolution above 300 ppi is more than
enough for good display

First, make a phone that can run games like SA on 1080p max without lag. I highly doubt that 4k display would run any game. That's just complete BS Samsung!

What you are trying for? 2K is not enough on a phone? What we really expect is a more fascinating look, more RAM, longer battery, better performance. Why not a metal uni-body with lower price?

Note 4 with QHD stands about 11hrs with web browsing, but the main problem is that cpu governor is not customizable and can I set my phone to deepsleep and ultra power-saving when I want to play games or browse the webs?!
the other thing is 4K is not really needed because there is no game or app for it yet and SoC chips are optimized for QHD now, you can see what happened to G3 when the chip wasn't ready to push those pixels (6hrs web-browsing)
and there is no difference between QHD and 4K in that size, do we need a premium 4k-TV in our pocket or a device that can endure a day with heavy use?
