I am not sure why its taking too much time for Google to push updates for nexus devices. Google has the biggest servers in world still they can't afford a few bunch of Nexus users at-once. This sucks when you know update is there and you can't get it. I can format my phone from the images given on Google developer page but don't want to take my data somewhere and after format same data i have to take back in phone, its kind of time killing.
                  Overall it sucks !!!

Google looks like cheap about their commitments ..no updates so far ..even moto G got the same before nexus series its just marketing . to boost the sale Nexus 6 , Nexus 9....this makes Apple relly far better than google whatever they provide if Apple say IOS 8 is on 19 sept then it will surely executed...even a 3.5 yr old IPhone4s got it.
Feels really bad my nexus purchase have to wait.... have to wait ..its been about a month when 5.0 released. Still no updates !!!

Already using it since yesterday's factory leak on Nex7(grouper). The kernal is old and no USB audio support by default. Now looking for work arounds.

On average my nexus 5 and nexus 7 took about 2-3 weeks to get the update after Google announced it was available.
