Finally received update India Pune yesterday works fine having no issues with it Wi-Fi works fine than before no battery issue found till now

I did a factory reset, because mi Phone was restarting 2 or 3 times a day, something with the sim card. and still no OTA update for Lollipop on Nexus 5.

Hi friends , I got my android lollipop update via ota yesterday night and have been using it for a day now .There this is a short review of the interface and the bugs in software .
Fom android Jellybean to KitKat it was a evolution but from KitKat to Lollipop it has been a revolution .
Android 5.0 is not just a cosmetic change over android 4.4.4 but important functions such as torch light and power saving modes has been added which are extremely helpful . Camera quality has improved a bit and so has battery life to an extent of around 10%. Also on the scroll down short cut menu fully functional GPS on/off button is there ( earlier if one had clicked on that it use it, it used to take us to the GPS settings to switch it on or off ). Also the brightness button the the scroll down menu option is way more functional ( but it doesn't have the auto brightness option there ).
The user interface is very smooth and animations are really refreshing. It actually gives us one a feel of a new device .
However lollipop is not without bugs and some of them are really serious ones.
Firstly, one can't can not move to complete silent mode by lower pressing the volume button . The maximum one can do is go to vibration mode and not complete sound and vibration off mode like in earlier version of android.
Secondary some apps crashes, my friend using nexus 4 is just not able to use Facebook app after upgrading to lollipop .I'v however not faced this issue till now on my nexus 5
WhatsApp notification is a bit in consistent. Sometimes the notification comes up with the ring tone but sometime it doesn't.
Another issue I found is that some apps in the play store are not comparable. Eg a file explorer app was not downloading and was giving some error messages and so were a few gallery apps.
The WiFi at times connect without a problem but at times it takes a bit longer, there seems to be a minor problem there as well .
I have just used lollipop just for one day and the above mentioned has been my experience so far .

Em i... moreI am on airtel and i got update. You phone carrier does not have to do any thing with the update in India . It is Google who is pushing OTA updates as per you phones build number .
As of now OTA is pushed for every build number and you will receive it in another couple of days if not received yet .
You can always try the GSF trick .. It worked for me

Why do I own a Nexus 5, if I will not get (as promised) the new SW release as first? The Moto Familiy is updated as well as the GPE versions from several manufactors- ust no sign on Nexus 5... this is annoying GOOGLE!!!!!
