Please note Blackberry make for enterprises user mostly , not for consumers anymore . Thus they expect a low quantity but long run sales . Hence people who are commenting against it are not the target consumers , so you wasting your time here.

Blackberry killed itself when it decided to become a common man's phone in India. With "Blackberry boys" campaign and popularity, it became uncool to own one. India killed BB.

I am surely looking forward to buying it. I mean after all the touch devices came out, I am losing my contacts, because it is much inconvenient to chat with my friends properly in a touch device than qwerty. typing in qwerty is fast and we can send long messages. Touch disconnects people. Blackberry qwerty helps people come closer.

Cheaper than i had expected, not bad price but otoh its a definitive midranger in every way, 2GB RAM is pretty much minimum for BB10 and only the low end Z3 has less (1.5GB).
Its mostly the display thats the problem here, 720x720 was already bad on Q10 and now with a bigger display it is way underwhelming, barely better PPI than my phone in 2009, maybe BB forgot to look at the calendar, its almost 2015, someone please inform them.
About BB10 performing well with midrange CPU, well, as a BB10 user i can tell you that its not really true, maybe the Passport is better but all the others will stutter if for example playing music while doing light tasks and for singletasking you will frequently find that for example facebook isnt responding at all to touch input and it will take several seconds before you know if it responded or not. So no, performance isnt great, but ok, its acceptable for a midranger, even if its a bit expensive midranger we are talking about here. Its only in the webbrowser that BB10 feels premium and fast and smooth, in many cases better than high end androids.
The display should have been at least 960x960.

A good phone by BlackBerry. Not sure how much it's gonna be priced at in India. Until this one arrives in the market in India, I'd stick to my Z3.

People bashing Blackberry don't know anything what's going on behind the scenes. They just teamed up with Samsung to even further their security features and adopt some features from android to their phones. Blackberry is for the working man while everything else is a gimmick ttoy, yes even their new partner Samsung, make most of those gimmick phones

so glad to see this, always have been a massive full physical qwerty keyboard. Really can do without a touch screen. Have always hated the imposition of bloody touch screens as you can't find any properly functioning smart phone without. Touch screen should always have been an option not the norm. If rim pulls it of with a decent OS and reasonable volume of functionally important apps like navigation, MSoffice, Adobe and java script support, then I would never have to put up with these God awful touch screens. I just hope that they don't start relying on Android as they have been. A true smart phone user doesn't really need all that garbage. Communication tools like Skype, viber are important though, just hope that they won't be the android version. Rim had a genuinely great OS with huge potential, but just got derailed in a bid to develop a touch screen version. If they would have stuck to their guns and would have worked on the core apps then blackberry would still have been a force to reckon with in smart phone market. There are so many other ways to have an effective input mechanism, I just don't get the obsession with the touch screen.
