If you move in certain circles then you would know that Android leaks like a sieve and is a snap for certain people to take advantage of. Even this website has reported various urgent upgrades to Android, and Samsung's own touch to the OS given some glaring security issues. Sure there is no perfect OS though one has to accept that Blackberry is largely considered the best in the public arena. Remember the PRISM scandal of recent times. Blackberry was the only OS not mentioned.

as much as i know, to implement the same encryption, many developer can use different codes. and there is no perfect developer in this world. they are human, they can make mistake. for example they can mistakenly write code that can create buffer overflow, or they forget to initialize some variables then use it elsewhere in their code.
If all people can read their code and some of them find the mistake, they can use it for terrible purpose.

Encryption is not becoming insecure just because you can see the source code, in fact, the principle of encryption is that the method is known and only one/all keys are secret.
You really have a lot to learn.

And yes.. there are no perfect codes in this world. It's too dangerous if naughty people can easily read that.

Start with things like URL SQL injection and you will begin to understand basic concepts. The only malicious software that installs with user permission are trojan horses, but there is a ton of other stuff that allows a hacker to gain entry. Browser exploits, hidden admin exploits, fake USSD codes, etc, etc.
I don't know myself how exactly it is done, but at least i understand what vulnerabilities are.

I'm happy for the BlackBerry extra cash it will receive. Samuel Shaw will up its security system I suppose idk.. not a fan of Samsung but all good!! :)

You'll find that without user's permission, a rogue app cannot do anything. In this sense, Android has perfect security unless the user is careless.
