OK it's a dev device I get the price somewhat. But the timing since past announcement date are just downright piss poor and by now I think at least 50% of targeted devs are already at work on Nexus 9 yeah albeit sans this 3D sensing capability though. Still a hard sell if they're buggered to spend another 1k for that.
