off course you wont be able to install desktop app into mobile phones, maybe what Microsoft will do is to integrate the mobile capability of its whole devices, computers and services into one ecosystem,, like data, contacts, etc, but definitely not applications for which desktops have different specs than any windows phone.......... common sen_e.....

Is is just MS' version of Apple's Continuity. The phone is not going to run the full Windows OS. The OS itself is 15~20GB

I wish that the interface remains the same. If they change this excellent desing and simplicity, it wont be good anymore. As for os itself..the best one at the market. You can call your phone a phone and use it fast and simple. Unlike other two.

Mo... moreStill better than the widgets any other OS uses, at least WP does it differently.
Good news by the way, hope the older models like the 920 and 820 will be able to handle the OS smoothly as we are used to from WP phones.

And by the way their difference would really be huge since desktop and mobile device have their different purpose usage. Now I dont think the full windows desktop OS would be installed in WPhones rather a stripped down version with just the same name used. Give me the benefits of being in windows cross platform that iOS/OS X and Android/ChromeOS cant do.

Ahh..loved this news. Hope all problems, shortcomings in lumia phone 730 will be resolved (related to windows phone ecosystem).

No external apps, no reasonable customizations. Only multitasking will be new.

hi, 14 Nov 2014Moto G gets updates too, and is better than windows.How old is ur Moto G? Its just over 1 year old now. While my 620 is a 2 year old with half the ram and it will be almost 3 year old when this update arrives and by then ur Moto G will be stranded in Lollipop...

Gave my Lumia 520 to my brother......Because i got new model...... Good to hear Lumia 520 also get WP 10............. After Lumia 520 definitely Lumia 730 will capture huge market.
