We've got to get out of the mindset that something as micro as this is a big deal...it's the same phone...and 99% of us will text, email, call,take a few pics, see a video every now and then, and play going through the screen transitions...It's still going to be the same phone. Stop making these minute things a big deal. as long as the carrier doesn't hijack the actual pure google experience with huge bloatware or things like that...or at&t software overlap...just buy the dang phone and use it.
That goes for the criticisms of this phone as well. Who cares if it's huge. You want it, buy it, use it. Don't like it, return it. I frankly can't wait to have this thing in the awesome Spigen case I have for it. I can't wait. Have a nice day.

If you actually want to get the phone instead of waiting for it to sell out before you get a chance to order it each Wednesday, you have to pay more money for a defaced phone with less memory by getting it through a carrier.

Not buying this phone. I've tried to buy since 29 Oct on Google Play to no avail. I'm either going to buy the Sony Z3 Compact Tablet or an International Galaxy Note 4. Nice Job Google - Way to screw up a product launch.

Too bad AT&T isn't in India otherwise they could release it there.
They love specs there and would buy any phone with 3 logos on it over a phone with say, only 2 or just 1 logo.

I love carrier branding. Thanks to the Nexus 6, Google can advertise me on the inside, and I can advertise A&T on the outside. I love being a walking advertisement.

Its not just branding. They will lock bootloader and modify OS to include their own apps. It will bet no longer a Nexus.

Not sure why this is seen as fair. Sure, by buying the phone on contact with AT&T subsidized, I pay less money upfront. But, I will be paying the rest off (and then some) over the next 2 years.
